Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of "VHire" (the "Service"), a VTuber online booking service operated by VHire Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "User" means anyone who uses the Service.
  • "Client" means a User who books sessions.
  • "Creator" (VTuber) means a User who offers sessions on the Service.
  • "Session" means a booked online interaction between a Client and a Creator.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when registering an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and must not allow others to use them. We may suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false information.

3. Creator Anonymity & Identity Protection

We respect and prioritize the anonymity of our Creators (VTubers). Protecting the person behind the avatar is fundamental to this Service.

  • Creators are never required to disclose their real name, address, appearance, or any real-world identity ("the person behind the avatar").
  • Clients and other Users must not attempt to identify, deduce, or expose a Creator's real-world identity (commonly known as "doxxing" or forcing a "reveal").
  • During a Session, requesting that a Creator disclose their real name, face, location, or other personally identifying information is strictly prohibited.
  • Collecting, recording, sharing, or publishing information about a Creator's real-world identity without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited.
  • We may collect information necessary for Creator registration, but we will never make it public and will not disclose it to third parties except as required by law.
  • Users who violate these provisions will have their accounts suspended immediately and may be subject to legal action.

4. Bookings & Payments

Clients book Sessions through the Service and pay the displayed rate. Bookings are confirmed instantly. Payments are processed through our designated payment provider.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

If a Session is cancelled by the Creator, the Client receives a full refund. Cancellations initiated by the Client are subject to our cancellation policy.

6. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Service, you must not:

  • Attempt to identify or expose a Creator's real-world identity (see Section 3)
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against other Users
  • Request or provide sexual, violent, or illegal content
  • Record, film, or redistribute a Session without consent
  • Solicit off-platform transactions to avoid fees
  • Impersonate others, register false information, or gain unauthorized access
  • Engage in any conduct that violates applicable law or public order

7. Content Rights

Creators retain all rights to their avatar, voice, and stream content. Clients may not commercially use or redistribute content obtained during a Session without the Creator's permission.

8. Disclaimer

The Service provides a venue for interaction between Clients and Creators. We do not guarantee the content or quality of any Session. Disputes between Users should be resolved between the parties involved, and we are not liable for them, although we may provide support where appropriate.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if a User violates these Terms. Violations of the Creator identity protection provisions (Section 3) are treated as serious breaches and enforced strictly.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify Users of significant changes through the Service.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our registered location as the court of first instance.
